چکیده
This paper addresses the H , fixed-lag smoothing and prediction problems for linear continuous-time systems. We first present a solution to the optimal HZ estimation problem for linear continuous-time systems with instantaneous and delayed measurements. It is then shown that the H , fixedlag smoothing and prediction problems can be converted to the latter problem in Krein space. Therefore, the H2 estimation is extended to give conditions on the existence of a H , fixed-lag smoother and predictor based on innovation analysis and projection in Krein space and a solution for H , smoother or predictor is given in terms of a Riccati differential equation and matrix differential equations.

H∞ Fixed-Lag Smoothing for Descriptor Systems
In this paper, we study the finite horizon H∞ fixed-lag smoothing problem for linear descriptor systems. The key approach applied for deriving the H∞ fixed-lag smoother is the re-organization innovation analysis in Krein space. Under the Krein space, the H∞ fixed-lag smoothing is converted into an H2 estimation problem for the system with current and delayed measurements. By using innovation re...

متن کاملEffects of a Partial Lag on the Achievable Performance of the H∞ Fixed-lag Smoothing
The fixed-lag smoothing problem with a partial lag is the problem in which the presence of the smoothing lag is allowed only in a part of estimation channels. This paper studies the effect of a partial smoothing lag on the achievable H ∞ performance in the continuous-time case. In particular, the limit of the achievable performance is established and the saturation of the achievable performance...

* Research supported in part by National Nature Science Foundation of China Abstract A suboptimal approach to the d( 0 d ≥ ) step fixed-lag smoothing problem for Markovian switching systems is presented. Multiple Model Estimation techniques have been widely used in solving state estimation problems of these systems. We demonstrated that the mode probability of each fixed-lag smoother at time k-...
متن کاملH∞ control and estimation with preview-part II: fixed-size ARE solutions in discrete time
H∞ preview control and fixed-lag smoothing problems are solved in general discrete time linear systems, via a reduction to equivalent open loop differential games. To prevent high order Riccati equations, found in some solutions, the state of the Hamilton-Jacobi system (HJS) resides in a quotient space of an auxiliary extended state space system. The dimension of that auxiliary space is equal t...
